Justin Rose

Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Creative Consultant

Justin is a published illustrator, experienced graphic designer and award-winning Creative Director with nearly 20 years of professional experience. He is known for an illustrative approach to graphic design, and can work in a wide variety of styles and media. Working closely with writers and marketers, Justin has consistently delivered design work and branding solutions that exceed client expectations. Justin believes that a holistic approach to branding, crafting the right narrative and supporting it with striking visuals, it the key to marketing and branding success.

Prior to launching Rose Creative, Inc., Justin served as Creative Director and design lead in both the editorial and agency space. He acted as the Creative Director at The Quell Group, where he worked closely with the account team to produce branding solutions for automotive and manufacturing clients. He worked as the Lead Designer for the Consumer Marketing team for Gannett properties in Detroit, and the Presentation Team Manager for the same organization. Before moving into a marketing role, Justin began his professional career at the Metro Times, an alternative weekly in Detroit with a 30+ year track record of award winning journalism. At MT Justin had worked as a Production Designer, Production Manager, and eventually Design Director for editorial content. He still collaborates with the paper as a Contributing Illustrator. He is skilled in design team management, vendor relations, page layout, brand management, illustration and design for print and digital applications.

Aron Lawrence

Digital Design Specialist, Web Developer, Motion Graphics/Animation Expert

Aron has been passionate about web design and development since he built his first one in 2001. And since then, he has been working to stay up to date with the latest innovations and technology to continue building reliable and secure websites. Aron works on custom solutions for customers, hand crafting a website to meet their needs and exceed their expectations. He believes writing a website’s code manually is the best way to keep it running lean and fast.

After starting his career in design and development in 2009, Aron has worked for a variety of firms in different industries. He worked to develop and code training supplies for airline mechanics and pilots with Aerotrain. He also worked with Raytheon on training courses for the British military. After those projects were complete, he joined the Detroit Media Partnership, the shared marketing arm of the Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press. In his position as lead designer, he helped the team advance their product offerings by introducing responsive landing pages and email marketing, as well as pioneering HTML5 advertisements. He then moved to The Quell Group, a branding agency specializing in engineering, technology and automotive clients. In this role, Aron built and maintained websites for many such clients, ranging in scope to small shops up to multinational corporations.

Aron earned his A.A.S. in Visual Communications from ITT Technical Institute in 2009.
